That was great! You really nailed down the presentation and the 90s feel. The gameplay was fun when you’re going fast, but when you have to make a sharp turn and you lose a lot of speed, it feels really unsatisfying.

I don’t know if it’s because I was using a keyboard instead of a gamepad, but turning felt a bit awkward, like sometimes the turns would be really sharp, other times not sharp enough, and it was just difficult to follow along the track.

Another thing, I noticed that when the AI gets a lead, it’s almost impossible to catch up if you make a mistake.

Overall though, this was very well done and with a little bit of polish you could turn this into a very exciting high speed racer

Thanks! ^^ its not the keyboard haha the turning is just jank. Steering is especially bad on walls, and I didn't properly plan the tracks out for flowing movement when I made them. Tbh when I play I mostly let the walls turn for me, by riding them round corners, and don't steer at all which is what slows you right down. That speed loss is something I'm most unhappy with, max speed and flowing turns are what I ultimately wanted.

And yeah the AI is also jank, there's nothing adaptive about them so they're either slower or faster than you, and that's it. I was aware of this before submission and my workaround was to always progress the player (faster vehicles are always unlocked) this way I hoped players wouldn't feel punished for the mechanics/physics messing up or for making mistakes.

Thanks a lot for the feedback! ^^
