Really interesting track. I'm repeating others here but that guitar was a fantastic shock! Maybe I'm just a crotchety old man but the panning in the first half got kind of extreme for my taste.
With headphones. I'd say for me it's just that 40 seconds is a long time for a sustained disorienting effect. Btw I forgot to mention, great percussion choices.
