I'm a fan of minesweeper so I played it for a good while, but I don't feel the first person perspective played to it's strengths. A good novelty though.

I would say this works as a 'proof-of-concept' to how the pacing of minesweeper works in a first person gothic horror setting. I would go for novelty as well as-is and it's definitely an example of a working jam game and I will transfer it to a paid version as 'classic mode', which is just literally minesweeper.
I took interest in the 50/50 guessing part and also the difficulty from limited vision and I think your video and comment may have just given me the idea how to make it definitely play to its strengths, and it is with the variance in appearance and the names of the characters.
If you are familiar with the hasbro board game 'guess who', there may be a hint of where I'm going to.
Thanks for the input!
