Thoroughly enjoyed playing this game, but I'm bad at organizing my thoughts in a helpful manner so have a bunch of annoying bullet points lol
- great sprite and menu art
- font choice looks good, is thematic and readable, also doesn't have any wrapping issues
- cute portraits!
- catchy music that loops properly, doesn't wear out its welcome even after all three levels
- readable and intuitive UI
- gameplay is simple and intuitive, no need for a tutorial other than explaining controls (which the game does quickly and does it well)
- fun & unique mechanics - pushing and ringouts (and intentionally going into space tiles to set up sick pushes)
- cute dialogue, I especially liked Zircos (alex's knee joke was also particularly funny)
- units feel versatile and have more than one use (especially alex, fast movement + pushes = yes pls)
- a surprisingly complete feeling game, especially for something made during a jam
- difficulty on the third level is perfect!!
- skip button is incredibly nice when replaying levels
- attack animations and turns go by fairly quickly compared to other tactics games (this is a good thing)
Also considering the context of the game, I'm surprised you guys didn't go with "NecRomance" as the title...lol.
