DO NOT BUY! Current game is not worth the price and the developer is charging for the content he should be building into the game as "DLC."

(+5)(-3)

So you are angry because nobody gave you a free handout?

Cool story, bro.

(+5)(-5)

Who said we should make DLC free? And why should I devalue the work of our team? Dude, it's not $50 a game. Why urge people not to buy the game just because we release the game PAID? Did you take into account the fact that there is a free version of the game? This is absurd.

It's an attitude that carries over from the free dlc on steam for a few of those games.

That being said, rock on Team Feyada.

(+4)(-4)

It's just that people are used to free add-ons.

mhm, and that's typically something that most players won't get is that the developers that release everything for free may get popular and even get a payout for the game in the end, but they don't tend to last long after the games are finished as they don't have funds to continue developing.

We were faced with a choice:

1. Postpone the release of add-ons until the release of the game on Steam.

2. Release add-ons for free.

3. Release add-ons for a fee.

The 3rd option is cool, I don't argue, but it can always be a fallback.

The 1st option is also good, but given the fact that the additions have already been shown for 2 years in a row, it would be nice to finalize them and still release them.

We decided to choose the 2nd option and sell the DLC at a specific price.  Again, the price is not $50, but only $2.49, and we believe that this price can cover the cost of creating this event.

while I personally see the reasoning behind putting out Paid DLC some people are just angry that people who develop games also need to eat and pay bills.

It's not DLC if the game is unfinished.
