Similar to an old post I saw, it was the missing zlib.ndll from NekoVM. Got that and it finally worked. I didn't know I needed it coz the documentation only recommended getting NekoVM for Mc/Linux users.

Oh, really… I guess something’s amiss from project files on my laptop.
