I'm going for this style. As for ideas it's not really helpful and it also depends on what direction you wanna make but I guess farming alchemy ingredients to make/sell it for a potion is something that I would love to see.
And did you tried to draw some tilemaps, 2D buildings, small skill/item icons?
Your examples are really cool but it seems like Visual Novel/Concept art stuff.
