What a good idea! I always wondered if these "magic eye" pictures could be animated, or if that would destroy the effect of the seeming flatness of the picture as you first see it. If the "magic" parts were moving, you wouldn't have to focus your eyes to see them. Anyway, cool project -- might be worth it for you to play with the concept a little further. :)

Thank you! Yeah, very much a quick proof of concept. I happen to know of someone working on taking this kind of thing a little deeper, potentially with some animation...

In a slightly similar idea, there is this other game where the graphics are made purely out of static noise. Yet, you can clearly see the platforms and hazards.
