The black tiles interspersed on the edges of the room is a neat corrupted look like Axiom Verge or something. Controls are pretty tough at the moment. I'd probably start by lowering the move speed a few clicks down from Looney Tunes Roadrunner. 

I'm glad you got what I was going for design wise, I wish I had the time to do it properly for the entire game but ran out of time towards the end.  I agree that the player was running around like the Roadrunner, lol,  some others have told me I made the platforming way too hard.
