I love your instrumentation, which reminds me a lot of Donkey Kong Country music. The mallets and djembe/cabasa percussion work so well with the synth chords and smooth lead synth instrument. You have some really strong melody-writing that is catchy but varies enough that I want to keep listening to it over and over. The metering of your overall compositional structure feels really natural too which lends itself to being a very loopable song. I wasn’t really sure what a lofty forest sounded like when I saw it as a theme option, but now I know exactly what it is: this! I am telling everyone this, but in terms of composition and quality, I am super impressed by yours and all submissions in this jam. It’s like it took the 6 top submissions of any other music jam!
