This has some really cool mechanics !
I like the different synergies you can have like using the exploding blobs to cause a chain reaction to kill the red blobs, or if you don’t have any on hand the fact that you can just hit them in mid air, and the larger blobs requiring to get hit by other ones to take damage also makes for some interesting mini boss battles.
The random powerup choice in between clearing waves is also a nice addition.
Visually i like the pixellation effect to make the game look a bit retro as well :)
