Cool style choice! Functions well and is easy to understand. Enemies do take a some time to kill but after you start circle strafing them they're basically useless against you lol. I know the story of the game is about ascension but nothing really exhibits that mechanically or visually. Good job anyway though!

I agree that the "Going Up" theme is not really strong at all in the game except the fact that the player enters a tower and "climbs" stairs at the end of each intermediate level. The Enemy AI definitely is very simple, but I did purposely make them much weaker towards the end after some play testing feedback. Thanks for playing and commenting!
