Title: The pulsing with synth with the delay sets the stage for a space adventure right from the start! Your melody line also enhances this by making big leaps and leaving lots of distance between the notes. I really like the gradual increase in intensity with each repeat and the epic drum section was my favorite. One thing that I wanted to offer is that there are a couple places where sudden loud sounds startled me (like at 1:52) - in these instances it may be helpful to crescendo into the sound sort of like an anticipation note to prepare the listener for what’s about to happen.
Starshed Village: Brassy pedal tones sound so sweet especially in the low registers! I like your use of arpeggios, especially when you add the 7th in which adds color to the spacey, but sometimes colorless 1-5-1. This village seems so peaceful!
The Star: This is a great return of the main theme and now it makes sense that it is representing the wishing star!
The Wishbane: The use of dissonant notes in the low range feels very dark and was a good choice for this track. The instrument used for harmony sounds like an organ which I think is great for villainous songs.
Confrontation: This is a really cool action-filled version of the Wishbane theme. I like the drums and the new forward momentum with the faster tempo. I thought it was really cool to suddenly hear the main melody come back in partway into the song amidst the droning pedal tone and minor harmonies.
Credits: This is very interesting that you chose to end the game in a minor key. Somehow you use the main melody to spin it back into a more major sound which is a really cool transition back into the arpeggios from Starshed Village. This is my favorite track!
World Ambience: This is really creative that you are thinking about an actual game and filling in all the gaps of gameplay so that your OST is game ready. Overall this is a very solid soundtrack! Thank you for sharing!
