im on mac and whenever i open the game, i get an error message saying "the application 'TheProfessional' can't be opened.". does anyone know why this happens? thanks!

Are you holding ctrl before clicking to open the game? It worked perfectly for me.

Hey, I'm sorry to hear this. There are instructions in the description of the game that might fix this. I unfortunately don't have a mac to test things on.

I'm happy to refund you if you send me the email you bought it with.

One way that I got it to work was by downloading the unarchiver app on the app store and unzipping the file with it, maybe try that?

I actually just ended up installing the itch.io app and the game works just fine when downloaded from there. No clue why, not going to question it haha

There is a new mac build up that hopefully doesn't have this problem. Let me know if it works!
