And you can't find the auxiliary commander anywhere, no? He's a fellow in yellow-ish, brown-ish robes. He's in the Quiet Clearing, should be standing near a tent with a banner, fairly in the open...?
If he's somehow not appearing at all, then... yeah, we'll have to look and make sure something hasn't broken. This is the first time this issue has come up so we're really not sure, but we'll look into it at least.
I don't think you should need to reinstall...! But... I guess it can't hurt, if you really don't mind! I'm glad you at least enjoyed yourself with the game up to that point!
That's the guy... but if for some reason he's not showing up except if you interact with the tent, then yeah, something's gone wrong.
I really don't know what the issue is. This is the first time anyone's ever mentioned it. But we'll look into it and push a hotfix if we find it's a repeatable and solvable issue.
Yeah, I'm experiencing a similar issue that the Aux commander doesn't seem to show up. He seems to be sequence broken after the forest monster that you fight with the archer dude. I am on version 0.34 if it helps.
Ironically I seem to have triggered his corruption level 10 cutscene outside his tent but I can't seem to find the Actual Aux Commander after that.
So there are three possible scenarios for this:
1. I somehow missed him in the quiet meadow
2. I accidentally broke the sequence by farming level 10 corruption.
3. This bug and disappearance happen on a fresh run from 0.34 (I lost the save files from my earlier versions and had to try again.)
I've started from the point when I crossed the bridge and visited the desert entrance for the first time(and system TP me to town to get the proper armor), and redo the Jungle quest.
The result was same, I opened the chest, and the screen goes black and the text that the player group instantly returned to the settlement.
Should I send you my save file so it could help you solve it? No rush since I'm the only one who's in trouble, and I can wait til the next big update

Hi, sorry to butt in! I've experienced a similar issue at a similar stage of the game up the comment chain.

Summary of bug: Aux Commander seems to be missing after fighting the forest monster with Kuno. I'm playing from a fresh start in version 0.34.

Other noteworthy stuff:
- Corruption 10 cutscene still triggers in the tent before introductions are made. Having 10 corruption also bypasses the two warnings.
Other weird stuff:
- Backstabs and AI in the bandit camp area seem to work oddly after a set amount of backstabs, in which they immediately rubberband to you while the animated icon for Backstab cooldown appears for a split second.
Must say, the little drakes and npcs are growing on me, those little dorks.
