thanks for the feedback, i'll keep that in mind when i eventually update the game. i honestly thought i made the game too easy though

It's very easy to underestimate the difficulty level, considering that the developer is familiar with their own game. I've often seen players struggle in areas that I didn't even intend to be difficult. Another important thing is that games are supposed to be fun. Most people will become frustrated in games like this and drop them very fast. Keeping things fun and difficult at the same time for most players is a hard task.

Your game being easier would properly showcase its main premise: changing between very different gameplay formats. I see like 95% of players being never able to explore this exciting premise, dropping the game due to getting frustrated with the janky platforming in beginning instead.
