I had a bit of trouble getting started with this game, which I partly blame on not being attentive enough. The artwork is INCREDIBLE, it's so perfect.

However, there's a lot going on the screen right at the start and I felt a bit overwhelmed initially. I also struggled with figuring out where to put the ingredients, I was placing them into the oven (which obviously didn't work) before re-reading the instructions. Then I tried adding them to the table with the plates and again I struggled until I figured out I had to give the ingredients to the cat. At this point, I realized that the issue was with me and not the game, but a bit more guidance would have helped me a lot in the beginning. Once I had a general understanding,

I was well on my way to baking plenty of treats. The gameplay loop is solid, in fact, it's very good!

I would say that the gameplay area feels cramped and it added slightly to feeling constricted. Overall, once I overcame the challenge of knowing what to do, I enjoyed the game a lot. I would probably reduce the cat's treat depletion rate so you have a bit more time to manage everything and then ramp it up if you wanted to introduce difficulty.

Thank you so much for playing our game Fmlad! I am sorry about the unclear instructions, our initial idea was to have an instruction/tutorial screen but we didn't have time for it in the end. Surely something we would add in an update though! And I agree that the cat's hunger bar is a bit unbalanced, specially for the later game - will be worked on in the future as well. I am glad you enjoyed the art and gameplay :)
