The game froze for me right when the text said :' The final assembly of the rocket has now begun '

Love how very simple gameplay elements made it stressful yet fun! Quite an experience with the story as well, you took the saying : "less is more" literally. Great job ! (A simple question if you mind :) , how did you achieve the screen size in itch ? Does your project window setting had a fixed size of 1920x1080 ? Or it only depends on the HTML5 export settings ?  )

Oh, sorry to hear that it froze for you. :( But you mentioned you enjoyed the story…were you able to get to the ending after a restart? :P

For my Godot settings, I will share with you what I can. I am using Godot 4 beta 11.

  • Display > Window > Size > Viewport Height - 1920
  • Display > Window > Size > Viewport Width - 1080
  • Display > Window > Size > Resizable - On
  • Display > Window > Stretch > Mode - canvas_items
  • Display > Window > Stretch > Scale - 4

I didn’t do anything special in the HTML5 settings and on itch.io, I put the viewport dimensions as 480x270 and enabled the fullscreen button.

Hope that helps!

For sure, I wanted to see how you implemented the plot twist wildcard, and I got to say it was unexpected and sad at the same time ... Twist is better than most modern movies twists i my opinion. Thanks a ton for sharing the settings it really helped a ton, have a lovely day my savior <3
