Well done on the juice part, the game feels good to play, and the driving is quite nice. I think the car is a bit hard to control, which is not a problem by itself but the player needs to collect small things on the ground, and it can be a bit frustrating. It took me time to even understand that enemies dropped money, and that there was a shop, because the money drop was most of the time done offscreen, and the map is pretty big while the shop is only at the center, so it is easily missable. Maybe zooming out a bit, and giving back the car a bit more control could have helped ?

The retro low rez effects are pretty cool, but the text was almost unreadable unfortunately, due to the very low display resolution.

Despite those problems, it's quite an enjoyable game, and I think it's not far from being really fun ! I think there is a clash between the two genres you're mashing (car driving and roguelike shooter), and it would require a lot of finesse in the game design to solve it, that would require more time than given in the jam. But there's definitely a cool concept to explore !

Have you tried to add obstacles in your map, to put more emphasis to the driving gameplay ? I think it would add a lot of depth to the gameplay, to have to dodge things, and the enemies would not need to be so aggressive, which makes encounters a bit random sometimes.
