I like the interpretation of the theme - it was novel and felt like one of those ideas that is extremely obvious in hindsight. The graphics were pleasant, and the music fitted with the tone of the game.

The game mechanic reminds me of Pikmin, where minions follow you around and form the bulk of your ability to make progress. I think it would have helped if you could see the boundary around the flagpole where the minions would start to follow you, and maybe even being able to shrink and expand this boundary might help with improving minion movement response times (Looking at the boulder section in particular).

I like the aspect of being able to explore to power up your minions, I was trying to go into the forest and rivers incase there was another power-up, like a shield for defence, or even the ability to act as a proper checkpoint and restart from that point - if there is another powerup, then I haven't found it yet.

I did managed to get 1 minion to the end, though I got very lucky with the boulder section.

Overall, an interesting and fun concept with a very novel take on a well known gaming mechanic.

Wow, sounded like you went really in depth in exploring the game! That's awesome, thanks. Sorry there were no hidden surprises! Thanks again and for the sweet review! :)
