I don't have a 3d printer so i wont be making them, but i have thought for a long time that these would be an excellent table addition.  Splendid work!

Ditto, since I just have a filament printer (not resin), I can tell this won't come out well unless I make it kinda huge.

I've been wondering, though -- how do you paint the insets like that?  Cover the whole thing and then sand the faces?

Brush acrylic paint into a face, *immediately* wipe flat over the top with a dry cloth to get most of the excess (while holding the die flat and steady with the other hand), then follow-up with another cloth that's been dampened with isoproyl alchohol, and rub vigorously for, like, two seconds.

How I do, anyway.
