Very big double dragon vibes here.  Visually stunning!  I will be honest I didn't get past the first level because the enemies were very spongey and my hand started to hurt from repeatedly tapping the buttons to punch and kick.   Just my 2 cents, more enemies with way less health.  Also I had a couple issues were the enemies just stood there.  I did enjoy watching you dev progress on the discord and this game has a LOT of potential.  Overall great job!

You're supposed to long press and not tap. I specifically made it so button mashing would be discouraged 😅😅. And also, yeah the enemies just stand around waiting for the player to agro them (I was supposed to initilize the Tag mechanic for when an enemy dies rather than ONLY when the enemy gets hit). They stand around to give the player time to finish off other enemies, the number of them sta wait depends on the difficulty of the game. Thanks for the feedback it really helps me understand what to do on my next game jam.

That makes more sense.  Was that move list in the game?  I didn't see any screenshots on the itch page and didn't notice anything when I played the game, so I may have missed it.  Just the instructions saying a punch s kick and to do them in tandem for combos.
