I do have a soft-spot for hacker aesthetic, so I'm biased.. but I loved it.

Some critique (hopefully constructive). 

- If you had launched survival mode immediately after the tutorial (story mode), I never would have known the difference. So you didn't need to apologize after the tutorial.

- I really liked how the spell/hack stack was in motion, so I was better off popping things off the end of the stack first. Added a neat layer of strategy.

- A little audio feedback would go a long way.

Great submission. With a little more polish, It's the kind of casual game I might pay a buck or two for on steam.

Thank you for the comments!  To respond, just launching survival mode next is not a bad idea, haha.  I made survival first, and then I had plans for a few story levels, but I could have pivoted with how little time I had left at the end.  I agree that things needed more feedback, like casting sounds, or particles, or death animations of some kind for the intruders.  Thanks!
