I pulled the player controller from a separate project, so it doesn't have a purpose. The purple cloud sometimes gets in the way, but it should only ever be on the first floor, so if you can't get past, I'd recommend regenerating a new maze in the pause menu. The monkey head represents a dead end. Also, I put it in the text on the main menu, but if you get stuck you can press 'P' to show the way. if the orb goes through the teleport and the teleporter soft locks, you then regen the maze. ahhh ok, thanks. Maybe if you contine this project try have a check to make sure the purple cloud doesn't obstruct the player or remove it?
