Very impressive for a 2 week project, it feels like you've got a lot of the core systems working, even if they don't have much content as of yet. Alora is cute and it will be fun to hang out with her as the game expands. Not sure if the black and white art will remain, but I think it's got its own distinct look to it, so I wouldn't mind it if the finished project used something similar.
Audio design is already on-point. The soothing piano theme works wonders to bring the world into motion and I like the jingling speech sound.
Unreal engine is really greedy with the GPU by default and my fans were audibly spinning while playing, so you may need to look into ways to optimize system resource use.
Your dialogue has a good flow to it, I like that there's lots of options, though perhaps they should have a broader variety of outcomes later in development. The white font with black outlines is playful but perfectly readable. Keys to advance the text and ways to skip through text and animations quickly will be essential in the future for this type of game. The game doesn't always show who is speaking, so it can get a bit confusing at times. A picture and description of the protagonist during character creation would also be a welcome addition for familiarizing new players.
Taking on a challenge of this scale at half the Jam's intended length takes a lot of determination. It's great to see that you didn't compromise your idea in spite of the odds! You've got a solid foundation, and a concept with a lot to offer, so I wish you the absolute best of luck in further development!
