Is it hard to use for the average computer user , I was thinking of making a web game (I already have a story in mind) but I wasn't sure were to start. I kind wanted to use something that is free and easy to learn
Completely free you can just type in "twine 2" and find the "twinery" site, it's shockingly easy to learn. It definitely takes some trial and error but it offers different themes/templates that offer slightly different pros and cons. I use harlowe which is the default and it's not too hard. It all depends on how complicated you want it to be, but the best part is half the time you can just type what you want to do into Google and copy paste it in with minimal effort. I've got a couple stories that I just use for "feature storage" and when I want say, a stat system or a lockpicking minigame in another story I can pretty much just copy paste it, lol. I dabble and have made some things but something on the scale of "Wasteland lewdness" is a bit overwhelming for me atm.
I See , I guess I will give it a try who knows maybe I will make something good
Thanks for the info by the way , you kinda motivated me to try to do something that I have forgotten about. You see a couple of years back I tried to make a game with a friend of mine but we got to busy with high school we ended up forgotten about it and even though we are still friends we are in different universities so is pretty hard for us to continue the project
