Waiting for 2 years for something and still thinking you are going to get it is worse than any gaslighting.
Can't wait? Well, they've all been waiting nonstop for over 3 years. Seems to me they can wait for it.
What's another year or two gonna hurt, and then check and test on what you've already waited for another year. Then get started on the Godot engine or something else irrelevant in an attempt to detract attention away from the fact you're not even touching the game for another year.
