I agree, most of the girls need to be optional. Did you try the multi mod for it? There is a reduced harem option that apparently limits some of these.
My only complaint is being forced to take Lia. This should be optional to cut her out of the harem. I wasn't thrilled about the dwarf in the kitchen either but I didn't have as big of an issue with that than I did with Lia.
Logic suggests if there was no interest to continue this, there isn't any real interest to start it a second time in another format, much less continue that for any length of time.

No, it's technically abandoned. This game is not being updated anymore with zero guarantees any alleged other iteration of it will ever even start if the dev has zero time for AVN production that he had to walk away from it.
The game hasn't been touched in nearly 5 years. There's still always a dumb sucker or two who stay signed up and paying/watching anyway, as the dev continues to post all his plans and progress while doing nothing year after year. 😂🤣
Some devices designed for "gaming" may run at more than 2GB but run of the mill typically won't regardless if they're older or newer, and you really don't need to be a programmer to offer a compressed build especially if you have THAT many people on Android that play it as you say and seeing as this is the first release where the file size has exceeded 2GB, I would imagine nobody would be having issues.
Well, fast forward two years since the last comment pretending progress was still ongoing, and still a whole lot of nothing. I find it amusing how some devs will string people along for years and years.
Before I had saw any cheat mods, I was just editing the save file. You can define any variable you want for as much as you want. So if you want to one-shot everything and run through the game you can do so. I think I sat it at 99 all stats and 999 spirit, then sat all sensitivities to 0 and the game became a comp stomp.
What is up with the Android version asking for an internet connection? Nope. Not happening. Would like to try it out but not giving it access to my internet to download anything.
Booting Shiori at the beginning of the game (not hiring her and making her leave the game) still results in Shiori showing up and being present leading up to and at the office Christmas party.
