A very difficult but fun game. Learning to perform the wall jump accurately took some time, but once I got the hank of it it felt great. The art is very cute, I just miss some matching music. Personally I would make the controls a little bit more forgiving e.g. still give the player some freedom to change direction after starting a jump, because it is often difficult to predict where the player will land before jumping.

Appreciate the feedback! I had planned on composing no less than 3 tracks for this project and designing custom sound effects, but the deadline came up faster than anticipated. The game was intended to be quite difficult, and the wall jump mechanic rewarding to master. The movement code was originally much more forgiving before our masochistic tendencies led us to the current result. So glad you were able to find some enjoyment.
