Hi, the default settings are intended for the Quest 2. Quest Pro has slightly different performance characteristics, so you'll need to tweak some of the settings that affect performance in order to smooth out the frame pacing and playback. In addition, the Quest Pro only supports 72hz and 90hz refresh rate, so playback wont be as smooth compared to the 60hz and 120hz refresh rates of the Quest 2.
The settings that greatly impact performance are the "Resolution" and "Sharpen" settings in the advanced video settings, and the "Auto Focus Accuracy" setting in the user settings. Here are some settings that I've found that reduces playback micro-stuttering for the Quest Pro at 90hz refresh rate:
1. Set "Resolution" to 1.5. Leave "Sharpen" at the default 0, and leave "Auto Focus Accuracy" at the default 4.
2. Set "Resolution" to 1.25. Set "Sharpen" to a value greater than 0 (you can set a default sharpen value by clicking on the "Image" button, and then clicking the save icon next to the first preset). Leave "Auto Focus Accuracy" at the default 4.
3. Leave "Resolution" at the default 1.15. Set "Sharpen" to a value greater than 0. Set "Auto Focus Accuracy" to 16.
I personally prefer number 3, since a higher autofocus accuracy helps reduce double vision and eye strain when things get close to the camera. You can play around with the settings to see what works best for you. Hope this helps.
