There's a big difference between the older content and the content I make now. My goal is to deliver a consistent product, which has mostly been achieved by now. There is still a lot more to do, but I won't be doing this forever.
Most AAA games these days don't get shipped because someone says "it's good enough, those perfectionist artists will never stop unless we force them to." Unfinished games get pushed out with a ton of bugs because of corporate greed, usually when they want to release next to a holiday like Christmas for an extra boost in sales regardless of how prepared a product is. Fixing bugs is not hard, it's only time consuming and delaying a product for a year costs millions. I look at the project as a whole piece and don't shoot for any deadlines other than "It's ready when it's ready", and that doesn't mean perfection.
