Alright! This was a super fun entry! Although I must admit, I had a hard time adjusting to the combat in the beginning, and well, I chose Marsha which was the highest difficulty, so I guess that's why I struggled a lot early on. xD :D

But I enjoyed the input-based combat, as it made battles more engaging and challenging! It felt satisfactory when I beat the first boss that I had to do a couple of runs on. The voice acting was superb! They fit well with the characters and tone of the game. Mapping and atmosphere were also on point! The usage of RTP assets was nicely done here, and it didn't feel like running thru a generic RTP game cause of how well the environment was done!

And omggg! I gush so much with the battle animations! From the char/enemy sprites, up to the action sequences and how they were delivered! I just loved it! The "Many!" spell was so satisfying to watch once you successfully hit the button inputs! I also enjoyed that skeleton walk sound when they attack, that was a neat little detail. xD

Story also has a nice little twist, so it was very fun to follow. Overall, this was an amazing experience, and congratulations to the developer for completing a very fun, polished, and great entry for this jam! <3 :D

With that said, I'll probably go back and try out Therese and Lucius! ;) <3

Awesome! Glad you had such a great time with it and thanks for your kind words! The inputs are still a tiny bit wonky as I've realized when there was no more time to fix it. The inputs are timed for more "slow" people and fail if you press the button too fast.

Essentially if you timed it just perfect, the input would actually fail, so if you fall under the people who have good reflexes, you may have a better time with the inputs if you just went a little slower on purpose. :D

Oh I see! No wonder I failed on my first few tries cus I thought I shuda button mash xD But thankfully, I did realize they were a lot easier to go slow and wait a bit for that animation to show up. But yah! I was really fun! <3 Great job again! ^_^
