well let's start with something positive. The game looks pretty good. Ui looks nice, as well as characters, and there's a lot of cgs for being 3 2/3 chapters complete! yup

But how little content is for being out for nearly 2 years... this project was hyped up for a long time, and I can't say it's all bad, but it seems both rushed (story-pacing) and sluggish (actual release). The most shocking thing so far is that benji just fucking shoots the mc on his first appearance. And the mc is pretty quick to forgive them anyways... what the fuck? have you ever been shot before? well, I guess that sort of thing just sells. As well as oswald being deadpan when it comes to killing (specifically). i'm surprised eden hasn't found the base yet, since oswald just kills 2 people at the beginning as well. and adrian... he's so quick to go along with everything but if he said no to the resistance? he'd probably just die. if eden has that much sway, they'd just follow his tracks. Oswald's a legitimate psychopath

but I guess we'll wait for another year and then we might get some answers or a major character death (let's be real here, either ellie or benji will die or maybe both). Something like that is hopeful, isn't it

Tell me what Adrian's options are? His life got fully uprooted by an organization that's presumably doing good in the public eye, hell uprooted is too kind a word for what actually happened to him. The only person kind enough to help him out turned out to be part of the resistance, he even took him to the base, his options were homelessness or resistance, kinda obvious which one he'd go with.

As for Oswald killing Eden personnel, why would he not have a more stoic calm approach? Oswald is one of the leaders as we've been given that impression, how are you supposed to undermine and expose an organization that has more power than the government itself? Was Oswald meant to give them flowers? Also, what gave you the impression he killed 2 people in the beginning? He took them away from the public, and from there well something' happened to cause his suit to be more untidy, it gives the impression they manhandled him and he let them, dude can dodge a tiger's power punches but can't dodge what are simple grunts from beating him up?

Forgiving the bullet wound wasn't 'easy', Adrian was under the impression it was a simple scratch and not a piece missing. Benjie apologized beforehand and made amends by being less of a hardass for the training he had to go through, during that week there may have been more talks between Adrian and Benjie that we aren't made aware of, timeskips aren't just zip-zap zoom nothing else happened but training. Let's also not forget the fact it's nothing but a visual scar, no permanent damage.

The story progression isn't fast, it's just right. Seeing the whole week of training go by would've been boring and a waste of time. Timeskips happen in most VNs.

This project doesn't even have a Patreon to it's name yet here you are thinking they're entitled to release chapters on a more regular basis, hell you even made your account just to publish your poor excuse of a "review".

I'll mention this one last time: this project's creators owe you nothing, they're releasing a free project to the public, you think that makes you somehow in any position to make demands?

ok I tried really hard to convince myself not to argue online about meaningless shit but I couldn't do it so here we are again, arguing online about meaningless shit.

Yeah adrian doesn't have that many options after getting kicked out, but what about dylan? He isn't near homeless and they'd already be spending tons of time paying them back anyway. Instead he gets converted into a resistance member bc he is stupid and thinks he can fight against the world. But we need a good narrative so I guess it's fine

Getting shot in the ear is not fine. What does it matter if it isn't "permanent damage"? Again, if someone shot you would you forgive them so easily in a week? Have you been shot before? It's inane and it was mostly done as a show of accuracy, benjie is already screwed as far as the story is concerned. And then the writer wants me to feel bad for them later on, yeah ok. Sure.

Yeah ok ultimately we will not know if oswald killed those 2 henchmen or not, but he heavily implied it and also, even if it was something else, we won't know about it for another 2 years or so (at least) because we will wait, and wait and wait, for an update that took 7 months and wait again until we get some form of closure regarding a psycho like oswald.

They may not have a patreon (which is probably for the best) but i'm just surprised they care at all, especially since its been almost 2 years and very little is actually written yet, with the latest update being 2 thirds done (of one chapter!). And apparently It never went on hiatus at all, so thats out too.

Again, by all logic standards he would have gone to Dylan BEFORE finding out it was Eden who fucked up his life, do you honestly believe they'd let someone walk away and casually live with a friend after they erase his life? All going to Dylan would have accomplished is turning Dylan into a target as well.

The getting shot part is irrelevant, it's depressing and showcases how little of a choice Adrian has. He has no other option than to roll with the punches especially considering the guy who shot him is going to be training him on a near-daily basis. It was unfortunate but not life-threatening or devastating, I've been shot before in places much worse than a mere near miss on my ear, I WISH the shots were a near miss. Let's also put ourselves in Adrian's shoes, no other options, he has to stay in the base probably until Eden is fucked, he'll see the raccoon walking around and training him frequently, and he legit is in no position to get pissy with him. While it's not excusable it's understandable that Adrian would forgive and forget quickly.

There were 3 henchmen that went into the bar that night, one threatened Adrian the other 2 went with Oswald, there is absolutely no way he killed those two agents. He says "I took care of it" but that doesn't mean killing them, killing agents on TOP of their base is remarkably idiotic to the point where it seems the author has to clarify it so people like you don't get the wrong idea. It's heavily implied if you have a set mindset into wanting to think that, biased views.

It's also mentioned this project was a partnership with 3 other VNs, if that's the case then I'm fairly certain they're busy with their own VNs to actually work on this project, that'd explain the delays. Hell even if they didn't have other VNs to work on I doubt all of them can afford to work on this VN full-time, life is demanding enough without having people shit all over you while you're trying to make a free project. Constructive criticism works wonders, blatant complaining does the opposite.
