I'm not much into violent games, but the controls are great, good time management, because everything seems to be working as intended.
I couldn't get passed the second level, two baddies one of them armed with a 12 gauge shotgun.... I died a couple of times until I realize they were holding the thing. Had fun, though, not gonna lie! Don't bring a sword to a gun fight, literally. .Great effort! Congrats! I imagine you had a lot of fun making it!
