Good execution and looks very good but somewhat imbalanced as you can be run over by a party of 4 from the near start. If you die, you need to exit and restart the game because just going to "new game" will not refresh your health

Now that you mention it, I never tested this and indeed I forgot to reset Global variable on new game.
