Wow, this is a really intriguing story premise with (as expected from Gilded Shadows) some amazing world building in just this first short section. Very excited to see more of this. Also super happy that the MC isn't gender locked in this one.

I've wanted to experiment with gender variable MCs before but I wasn't sure it was tenable for me since I need my MCs visible. So far it's going well though and I'm learning how far I can stretch my resources to put features like this in. I still have a ways to go and I haven't done the CGs yet (and those are always the real test with any customisation) but...here's hoping it goes well!) ╰(*°▽°*)╯
