Overall: Neat little exploration of RPG Maker in a 3D form, which climbing a mountain works very well for. An elevated story and compelling characters would take this to new heights.
Gameplay: Walking simulator gameplay is broken up nicely by overworld abilities for each character. The staggered party members as interactive events takes this up a notch, although sometimes it was hard to interact with them as they'd clip through me. I think the game ended just as the gameplay began to feel a bit formulaic which is good.
Music: Nothing but whooshing wind. Works very well for the setting though.
Comedy: Didn't offer much.
Graphics: MV3D works a lot better for the perspective of climbing a mountain than your average 2D game. Reminds me of the perspective I wanted to shoot for last year before deciding on Show-Stopping Hero with its fixed camera. I think the camera could be angled a bit lower to make the flat billboard sprites more convincing.
Story: Story works but dialogue leaves something to be desired. Definitely felt a little bland and artificial.
