You just have to solve the last puzzle without entering the wrong door more than twice + run towards the monster (to fight him) in the red room. First, there's another flashback of her husband telling her to forgive herself, and trying to convince her that something is not her fault. With this, the games ends with the explanation:
Alex finally woke up from her nightmare, only to discover that she had been in a car accident. This tragic event claimed the lives of both her husband and children and left her in a coma for several days. Thanks to her memories, she found the strength to return to life and face another day.
