The game has a nice atmosphere going and the confusing layout of the house really bring out that "dream-like" feeling. The camera viewpoints were always pretty clear too, I could basically at all times tell the whole room's layout and where you could go and could not go in the room, well I could have most times if it wasn't so dark. I think my main problem is the rather unfriendly design towards the player, which is almost pitch black environment tied with the flashbang white cutscenes. I totally get the idea, but having to play with full brightness just to make out where the character is and then getting surprised by pure white is straining to eyes. I do however appreciate the detail in movement, how it kept your direction on a camera switch. I also kinda wished there was more puzzle elements, but time constraints are understandable and I liked the final puzzle, kinda checked if you were paying attention the to story :D

Overall, the game has potential in the puzzle mechanics and it had some good moments (catching a glimpse of the monster walking in the hallway and the TV turning on), additionally I respect having two endings. I encourage you to continue the development ^^I think dwelling deeper into the dream-like aspects of the story, you could make this into a horror-filled experience. Regardless, good work!

Oh, thanks a lot for your review and showing your thoughts!! This really encourage me a lot to make this a complete game!!

At the beginning I was thinking about every flashback been related to a puzzle(like the first one), but at the final hours of the Jam I decided to polish more the game, develop the end and, unfortunately,  cutoff the puzzles… And even this way I almost couldnā€™t upload my game in time xD

About the ambient been too dark, I think thereā€™s something to be with my monitor, since for me the game was already too bright xD Iā€™ll look for it in the next versions and probably add a option in the menu to change the brightness, since I didnā€™t had time for this either! Probably Iā€™ll find out a way to fix the flashbacks too.

Good to know that youā€™ve noticed and liked details like keeping the movement directions, I had a hard time figuring out how to make the controls smooth!!

Once again thank you so much for your review! Iā€™ve felt really happy and motivated reading this! And for sure I want to put more effort in this game!

Glad to hear that! Good luck in the future ^^ And yeah, time limits create challenges and problems, so I kinda figured that some things weren't in the possibilities in such a time frame.

Now that you said it too, it could be also my monitor being too dark, but regardless it might be a good idea to try and see if you can implement some sort of option to change the darkness level since monitor differences can be unpredictable.

Anyways, no prob, I tend to do lot of game-testing so I sometimes might be little too backseat developing, but glad to see you had some use for my "review" hehe! Good work once again!
