Quite hard to see the key up there. Also, i never understood why the other door opened?

I picked up the ink bottle, but could not set it down again. Is this some default UE5 thing? Haven't played around much with it, but most games here using UE seem to have the feature. It was a little broken though, had to restart.

Nice atmosphere in the rooms. Some assets maybe didn't fit well together. Extremely wet looking surfaces, you could probably take the specular down a notch :)

Interesting movement btw, made me feel like in Amnesie when hands are shaking, head is pounding!

Thanks for the feedback, the code of this project is custom and I did all of it. The reason why you could not drop the bottle is because you weren't looking at it. The center dot is there to show you what you are aiming towards and whether you can interact or not. You can only set the bottle down when the dot is looking towards the bottle/Item. I didn't do any of the map design, it was bought assets from the Unity Marketplace and then converted into unreal assets. We had a short time period and couldn't get everything on. The door opens when you look at the note in the second room. If you have your volume high enough or any volume at all you should be able to hear the door open.

but the dot is locked while holding an item :-D

yes, you just have to line the item with the dot

But yeah I was planning to have it as a button to exit from viewing/inspecting items to make it easier but I just never had the time. 7 days was way too short for what we planned.

Also I noticed that most people focused on the narrative side of games while we did more of a feature type/quality overall. We couldent do both due to time and this is just a demo.
