I really think GOG is a great thing for DRM free games and they have more and more indie-games (have a look at HROT!). And yes, they decide which games they offer. You can use this easy form to send a request: https://www.gog.com/indie

Physical releases are for games that already have a reputation and some sales. So maybe next year 🤩

the game is already DRM free (and I also intend to keep it that way)
I tried to submit Subpar Commander to GOG long ago and I didn't liked the way they rejected it (I guess it's not that a good game in retrospect but still: I do not wish to deal with GOG, sorry)

(HROT is cool but that is besides the point)
