I'm still testing it but if you want to try it out early I added Build1801 in Patches.zip (just replace the exe in your folder - the slider is under Misc in Options)
I like this a lot!! The only very minor gripe i might have is the shotgun and grenade launcher perhaps look a bit too low with the higher vertical FOV's distortion. However, when I enabled the letter-boxing, and it negated the distortion and also added visual charm In my opinion.
