Was very confused what to do at first. Once I figured out how to continue the story, it was super cute! I feel like this "click on a certain object to continue" mechanic can be really useful in visual novels or interactive fiction games. However I would suggest making the thing you have to click more obvious, maybe you could give it an outline. Overall, this was short and sweet.
