Really interesting theming and bizarro character designs! A few things that would really add a layer of polish to the game: add some sort of transition animation when the player dies, there were a few times that I didn't even realize I had died because all that changed was the health bars reset; also, a death sequence for the bosses, rather than immediately moving to the next scene when they reach zero health; lastly, as others have echoed, auto-shoot or click-and-hold shoot would really benefit the game here, as there is no ammo, or need to not be shooting. But overall, this was a lot of fun. Good work!
