Hey there! I really liked the sprite work, but a word to the wise: you have to make sure you choose sizes for tiles and characters and everything that keep pixel sizes consistent. The fact that the pixels of the characters look "smaller" than the environment pixels looks off and really holds back your art style, which is otherwise superb!

(best character)

I liked that you could just move with clicking the mouse on PC. Feels real convenient. Would've liked a few more travel gates to alleviate the backtracking. I did find the secret grove, cute touch. Good luck on your journey as game developers!

Hey, thanks for the review!

I used the pre-made engine of RPG Maker MV, and couldn't actually find anyone who would do NPC or player sprites in time, so I just stuck with the original assets. The Tilesets from LumeZu did come with a character creator, but I couldn't find a good way to format it into RPG Maker's spritesheets, and had to go without.

In later updates of the game, I might make it so that using the Hypo Umbrella will move you to the other version of the room - meaning if you're in the tent, you'd go to the Hypo Realm's version of the tent - but that alone will likely take several days to do. (There's about 30 rooms in total, and I don't know how to do it without hardcoding each individual room.)
