Wow, I love this one!!
You should kickatart it to make a board and pieces that fit the game - particularly I think stackable pieces would be useful as then you could stack the devourer piece on top of other pieces, this would make it much easier to keep track of what was going on.
As it is I'm tempted to create my own pieces from clay!
