I really enjoyed getting familiar with this game. Unfortunately, I did not have the Tarot cards required to play it, but I did get the strong sense of it being an engaging story-crafting experience best enjoyed with a group of friends, but that can also be played by yourself.

There's something very primal about the allusions of story-telling through reading the stars. The introductory text and art do a great job of creating that wonder you experience from looking at the stars and wondering what's up there.

Reading about how the game works, it seems that there's lots of variance for stories to go in different ways depending on cards drawn and also a lot of scope for creativity and shared story-telling. It was a little tricky to understand at first, but the use of examples of play really helped contextualise things.

I also found it quite novel that rather than having each player control a character, each player takes it in turns to fill a different narrative role in the story such as the narrator, the protagonist or their allies. I like that you can also having audience members who can then fill the role of other NPCs in the story if required. The whole setup made it seem like a really supportive, collaborative journey.

Very excited to pick up some Tarot cards and give this a proper go!
