The game had simple mechanics, but the presentation was very good! The artwork was consistent, and the sound fitted the retro artstyle well.
Here are some things you can improve:
- I thought the camera was too close to the player. It also drags behind them making it hard to see what you're heading into.
- Some coyote time would make the platforming a bit less frustrating (although it's already pretty well balanced). You can go through GMTK's platformer toolkit to see what I mean.
- Player can sometimes get stuck on ledges.
These are minor issues though, and the game was smooth and responsive otherwise. Well done!
