Ow, my brain. I like this, it's got potential for expansion. It's simple to understand but has a lot of complexity (and brain-bending possibilities). Somethings I noticed while playing:
- It never really increased in difficulty, I thought there'd be a sort of Tetris mechanic where the more you destroy the faster they start coming in.
- It was a bit too easy for two reasons:
1. I could hit arrows with the backside of my capsule, which means just dragging towards the center was often a pretty good choice (and meant I didn't entirely have to embrace the brain-bending mechanics of opposing directions). One potential solution to this is that parts of your capsule get weakened upon hitting an enemy and that part regenerates over time, but this would really make me think about directionality a lot more.
2. there was a lot of leeway on the two vertical lines (anything near the center lines could be blocked by either capsule), I would have them completely prevent a capsule from going over the line so that you have to make sure you're using the correct capsule on the correct side.
Very cool for such a simple game, and nicely executed. The aesthetic was simple but nice and the color switching was a really cool touch. All in all, I'd love to see a version with more mechanics introduced over time that really tests your mental grasp over controlling the two capsules at once. Good job!
