Ahhhhh, I loved the aesthetics so much..!!! The colour palette is so calming and pleasing to look at, and the art is so adorable (Dany's pixel likeness and the map~~)! I also loved that there are no incredibly punishing penalties if we fail the jump or get killed by an enemy, but instead, we're free to go about it in a more relaxed way! The jumping did take a bit of getting used to, but it's part of the fun!
As a side note, I love the fact that you both worked on the game as a couple and were inspired by your IRL Dany, that is super adorable~ I'd say you did a brilliant job in your first game ever, congratulations on it!! Yes, the game development journey really is difficult, but like you say, it's also very exciting - and rewarding! I'll be supporting both of you and am really looking forward to what wonders you create in the future! <3
